    I traced over a syringe and then added a typical no smoking style symbol, but to make the image more interesting I added a texture which includes a danger sign.  I wanted to include the ingredients of the swine flu vaccine but there’s far too many! so I settled for the side effects which appear to be more than swine flu itself!

    Although I have seen similar skull and crossbones images, using the needles to symbolise the bones, I still wanted to create my own. The inspiration for the text comes from an interview with Dr Rauni Kilde which I watched on You Tube.  The retired chief medical officer condemns the swine flu vaccine and believes it is a cover up for depopulation.     For this image I cut out the text and filled the rest of the layer creating a kind of stencil.  I then traced over a syringe, made a number of copies of it and arranged them behind the first part of the word.  Finally I placed an image of the UK flag over the last part of the word and added a texture to the image.

  5. : Personal reflection on website presentation

    I did a presentation for my website on Tuesday which I think went well.  The feedback was really useful for developing my idea’s and gave some good suggestions for direction.

    Since the feedback I have decided to use less light graffiti, add more balance to the general appearance, look at different fonts and designs for buttons and develop the layout and navigation.  So pretty much a full make over :P

    My website did tick all the boxes for the assignment so I was happy in that respect, but I think there is a large amount of room for improvement (especially since seeing everyone else’s presentation ).

    This was the first website I have created and I don’t think it’s bad for a first attempt, but now that I’m more familiar with the software used I’m looking forward to updating it.

    I came up with the idea for this one a while back but it took me a while to find a good picture of a tank to trace over.  I wanted to symbolize the vaccine as a weapon, and as the syringe roughly resembles the shape of a missile, I thought this would be a good way of achieving the effect.  I’m not too sure about the texture and the colour of the text but it’s getting there.

    It’s taken me ages to finish this one but I’m finally there! I’m really happy with the end result, I think the hours speant tracing, colouring and adding textures has paid off :D

    I like the layout of this one but I’m not sure of the colours.  I think it’s the green which is the problem so I’m going to play around with different colours.
